I only earned SS for 2023. I also married and lived with a foreign national in her country. She has never earned income in the US or visited. Do I need to file for 2023

I do not want to apply to get her a TIN because she is never going to earn money in the US nor live in the US.  I am never claiming her as an exemption nor will I use head of household.

If Social Security was your only income in 2023 you are not required to file a tax return.

Who has to file?
