I need to add child care expenses from my children’s day care and I don’t know how to go back and do that

From the left menu>Federal>Deductions & Credits>

You and Your Family click Show More, or if it is already listed, scroll to Child and Other Dependent Tax Credits.

Add child care expenses here.

 

The Child and Dependent Care Credit is separate from the Child Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit, that work together. TurboTax will automatically calculate this for you.
