I made Qualified Charitable Distributions in 2023. I don't see any placer on the Turbo Tax Screens to input this and thus reducing my taxable income. Please help

Where on the Turbo Tax input lines can I input my AQualified Charitable Distributions (direct from my IRA)?

You should have a 1099R for it.  After you enter the 1099R you select it was a QCD.  I did one and it worked ok.  So keep going if you are over 70 1/2 it should ask.

Thank you for your response.  The input form did not provide for the QCDs or 60-day rollover.  I needed to

go back and delete the original 1099R info. and start fresh in the income section.  That (next) time it asked me  about QCDs and the 60-day Rollover. Everything was input the same; must have hit a glitch on round one.

Thanks again.

In the online version, 2023 TurboTax will ask if certain situations apply and, if you were age 70½ or over in 2023 and the distribution was from a traditional IRA, will provide a box to mark to indicate that you had some or all of the money transferred to charity.
