I'm in New York which allows me to itemize deductions even if I've taken the fed standard deduction. How do I get Turbotax (deluxe) for NYS to show the option? It's not

You need to enter your deductions on your federal return. Your information will carry over to your NYS return.

Turbotax will automatically select the deduction that is best for you, based on your entries.
