I'm confused: "Tell Us About Your Home" in home office section. It asks if I bought or owned more than one item, piece of equipment. Then asks cost of my entire home?

Do I enter the cost of my entire home even though the section is about home office?

If you maintain a home office in a section of your home exclusively designated as an office (or business inventory), you will only be able to claim that percentage of your home. In order to determine the amount allowed for the home office, they must know the value of the entire home.
