I have the option to invest HSA funds into mutual funds. I need to understand NC tax laws regarding HSA accounts and any potential gains/losses with invested HSA funds?

NC does not tax the earnings or the contributions :  https://www.optumbank.com/all-products/hsa/tax-center.html
