I have Merrill Lynch 1099-B for sale of CD at no gain (same $14,000 sale proceeds and cost basis). Must I list on tax return?

Even though there's neither a gain nor loss on this transaction, it's advisable to go ahead input the information in TurboTax.

The IRS matches up the documents you receive with the documents payers provide.  If you, for some reason, should be audited for any other reason, they'll see your information and know to bypass this issue.
