I have deleted form 2555-T from my return, but I continue to get a 'Check This Entry' for a line on form 2555-T. How can I clear this so that I can e-file?

Follow the steps Below to delete the Foreign Earned Income:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to Federal Taxes.
  3. Go to Wages and Income.
  4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and click show more.
  5. Scroll down to Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion and click Revisit.
  6. Answer No to the Question "Did You Make Any Money Outside the United States?".

I am having the same issue. I do not want to answer "no" to earning foreign income because I did earn foreign income. So how do I resolve this issue without not claiming my foreign income? Thanks!

You should delete the forms and start over in the foreign earned income exclusion section.

You will need to delete both the Form 2555 and the Wages, Salaries & Tips worksheet.

Thanks heaps KarenJ2! That did the trick. After deleting the forms you suggested, I then just reentered my foreign income, but stopped answering questions after that. That way it did not engage the Foreign Income exclusion process at all. Which works for me since I am not excluding it anyway. Thanks again!
