I have a venting machine. For my additional income line, do I just put the total sales of that machine, or the total sales minus the purchased goods?

ALL business income is reported as such. Every single penny of it. You'll deal with what you paid for the products/inventory you sold, in the Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) section, when you get to it.
