I have a retroactive energy tax credit from 2015. Turbotax won't let me enter this credit on my 2016 forms. What do I do?

I need to enter a $422 energy savings tax credit for 2015 that has been granted retroactively. Turbotax is not letting me enter any such value into my 2016 forms, nor is it providing access to another form that will apply a 2015 credit to 2016. What is the best way to handle this?

Not sure what you mean by "granted retroactively". In any event, if you are claiming a credit for a 2015 expenditure, you'll need to amend your 2015 tax return. See here for help with amending a prior tax return:
