I donated an old ipad and kindle to goodwill. There's nothing similar to this on the itsdeductibe site. How do I value them?

Consider the amount that a willing buyer would have paid you for the items.  That is a good estimation of their fair market value at the time of their donation.

You can look for similar items for sale on sites such as Ebay or Craigslist if you need to research prices.
