I don’t want to upgrade to deluxe but it won’t let me file return cause it says I have financial account in foreign country. What do I do in this case?

Where do I go to answer no that I don’t have a foreign account?

If you have not filed, you can simply remove the Form 8938 to proceed. Here are the steps (online):

Sign into your account, select Take me to my return
On your left, Select Tax Tools / drop down menu
Select Tools
Under Other helpful links, choose Delete Form 8938 and Continue with My Return to proceed

Meet the same issue. I tried many ways. The problem is from the 1099 int/1099 forms, Remove all the 1099 forms and I just type the numbers by myself, only 2 columns, and continue these answers to the next session, then check the review, it will be fine with the free version. You'll see many foreign account question disappeared.
