I don't think I am getting by deductables

My Wife and I are not wealthy, we make together $186,000 and we are claiming "0" but it say's we have to pay! where is our $24,000 deductible for filing jointly?

Please be sure to take a look at the tax summary which will summarize your income, taxes, payments and refund/amount due from the menu on the left: 

 

Choose Tools/Tax Tools/View Tax Summary.

Look on line 9 of your Form 1040 for your standard deduction.   If you are both under the age of 65 filing a joint return, your standard deduction is $24,400.
