I contributed $912 to my HSA account through payroll deduction. Do I report that amount on my return?

This amount should already be included in your tax return.  Payroll contributions are reported on your W-2, Box 12, Code W.  This box includes both your employer's contributions and your payroll deductions.  If Box 12 code W is incorrect, you should contact your employer for a corrected W-2.
