I CONTRIBUTED 1500 TO MY HSA. TURBO TAX IS SAYING THIS IS TOO MUCH AND I WILL BE TAXED AN EXTRA 6%. I AM SINGLE WITH NO DEPENDENTS

HOW MUCH CONTRIBUTION IS ALLOWED WITHOUT BEING TAXED?

@mgriffin1325 the limit is $4150 in 2024.  

 

What is showing in Box 12 / code W of your W-2?  did you contribute more money to the HSA outside of your W-2?
