I am prompted to enter date paid for CT property tax CT-1040 p3,4), but I do not pay that as I’m in the military, am exempt from car, and don't own a house. What do I do?

It keeps prompting me to enter my date paid for CT state property tax (CT-1040 p3,4), but I do not pay those taxes as I’m in the military and that is my home of record/my parents house (that I don't own obviously), and I am exempt from any car property taxes. I can’t figure out a way to zero out that field or skip that form. What do I do?

If CT exempts you from personal property tax on the car (because of your military service) and you don't own a home in CT, enter 12/31/2017 as the date paid for CT property tax.

(Technically, you are reporting that you paid your CT property tax on 12/31/2017, but the amount due was "0").
