How to show qualified medical expense on my HSA distribution in form 8889 Part II question 15?

Current it only shows my HSA distribution but questionnaire nowhere asks me if i used it for medical expenses only and hence its getting added to my AGI with penalty

In Turbotax, when you enter the 1099-SA for the distribution (on the income page), you will be asked if you used the withdrawal for qualified medical expenses.

What is the distribution code in box 3 of your Form 1099-SA? If the code is 5 the distribution is taxable and subject to the 20% penalty no matter what you used it for, so TurboTax does not ask whether you used it for medical expenses. If the distribution code is other than 5, go back and edit your 1099-SA entries and check your answers. Be sure to continue through all the questions.

You can enter the 1099-SA under either Income or Deductions. The questions are the same, regardless of which tab you enter it on.
