How should I handle mortgage interest deductions on mock MFS federal returns when filing MFS state returns - all on one (state where home is) or split it?

We're filing federal MFJ and filing separate state returns (OR and DC).  Our home is in OR where wife lives, and I work in DC living in a rented apartment.  Should/May I split the deductions or keep it all on wife's OR state return? Tx

You may split it. It is not a tax, so it does not need to be entered on the state return where the property is located.
