How do you show that you only had HSA coverage from Nov.-Dec. of 2017?

In the HSA interview, there will be a screen that asks you if were enrolled in an HDHP n  2017 (see screenshot below).

On this screen, answer "yes". Three more lines will appear (see screenshot); check the option that read "I had different plan types at different time of the year". It doesn't say it, but this includes situations in which you had no coverage for part of the year.

On the next screen, you will have the opportunity to include which months you had coverage and what kind you had.

My question is for 2018 - this did not come up on this year's form

@bcwahler3208 Please make a new post restating your issue so that we can see it from the 2018 point of view - note that we cannot see your tax return, so you'll need to be detailed.

Can I post here or do I need to do it from the TurboTax site? My question about the medical coverage in 2018 is what to do if I didn't have the same coverage year-round. TurboTax would NOT accept the form that I uploaded because there were some months when I was covered by Medicaid and it was not on the form.
