How do you get the Credit for your dependents?

The program automatically calculates all credits to which you are entitled after you enter all your info, including your income and the dependent info.

The best way to be sure that you get all the credits that you qualify to receive based on claiming dependents on your tax return is to simply go through the step-by-step process with TurboTax from start to finish.  The program will take into account all of your information and ask you questions about credits that may benefit you.  

 

Enter the information about your dependents in the My Info section of your return and go from there.
