In the past, I have been able to print the Tax forms to put into my file so I have a record of what I entered into Turbotax for each of my charities. I want the summary page, not the individual pages for each charity. But I can't get into the turbotax file to even print out those detail sheets. Did I have to print that form out before I filed? Am I not allowed to go back into Turbotax to look at any of the forms once I have filed?
You can print a copy of your return which will include all of your schedules. You will see an option for this when you log into TurboTax, on your home page.
Also, you can choose the Amend/Change your Return option and that will let you back into your program.
I've had the same issue. Because I contribute to same charities each year, it is handy to keep a compact list of charities from 2020 to keep of contributions for 2021. I did it this year by taking screen shots of the data entry page for charitable contribution. Clunky but it worked.
If I could make two simple suggestions for Turbotax to improve its utility:
1. Allow users to print out a list of charitable contributions, not all the individual pages.
2. ALPHABETIZE the list of charitable contributions. This would make it much easier review the list of charities.
Both of these would help with prioritizing and not forgetting specific charities.
My two cents!
