How do i input my income if I don't have a w-2 as i live overseas?

I live in Australia permanently and started working in November 2021 (tax year here is financial year)

Report your income in Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion.

 

  1. Type foreign income in Search in the top right
  2. Select Jump to foreign income
  3. Select the appropriate choice (probably “A statement from my foreign employer (could be cash)

If you are a US citizen or resident and moved to Australia in November, then you would not qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion, but you may be able to claim it next year.

 

US citizens and residents are taxed on worldwide income but may be able to exclude a portion if living and working outside the US.
