How do I input information from a 1099-SA for health savings account distribution? I no longer contribute to one, but I use the money for health expenses.

The program did not ask about it as I am not currently contributing and have a Marketplace insurance.

You still have an HSA because HSAs are like IRAs in that they are persistent.

So start the HSA interview (you will have to go to Deductions & Credits->Medical->HSA... and indicate that you have an HSA (which is true, you're still getting a 5498-SA every year, right?).

Then as you navigate through the interview, you will be asked if you paid for anything out of the HS.A Here you say YES and then you will be able to enter the 1099-SA.
