How do I include form 4952 if I am not itemizing deductions but want to carry forward margin interest expense?

Taxpayers use this form to figure the amount of investment interest expense they can deduct for the current year and the amount they can carry forward to future years.

 

To enter/edit Form 4952 (Investment Interest Expense Deduction):

1. Open your return

2. Type Form 4952 in the search box (upper right-hand corner of the screen)

3. Click on “Jump to 4952” link.
