I would try to find at least two or three references- maybe you can google used medical supplies (I'm not sure if there would be any listed on Craigslist) You may also be able to call medical supply companies or even if you have the original receipts. The issue is the deduction amount- which is why I recommend if you see anything online, get a print out of it so you have a basis for your valuation.
