How do I enter into Turbo Tax the information on Form 1099-LTC for Long term expense reimbursement?

I have a Form 1099-LTC from the insurance company with just one amount shown in box 1. and checked as reimbursement amount.  How do i enter it in Turbo Tax?

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Wages & Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)

Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)

Scroll down to Less Common Income

On Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C, click the start or update button

On the next screen - On Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC), click the start or update button

To enter your information about a Long Term Care contract distribution reported on Form 1099-LTC, try using these steps to get started instead of the 'jump-to' link:

  • Go to Income, then scroll to the bottom of the section to find Less Common Income
  • Scroll down to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and click Start or Update
  • Scroll down to Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC) and click Start or Update

Will you please make this easier to find.  It's impossible.  The quick link just takes you to medical expenses, not the 1099-LTC form or questions nor to the 8853.  It takes me hours to find this each time.  List it as a separate item please.  Even clicking from the 8853 form back to the numbers doesn't take you anywhere useful.
