job materials and supplies i have $1472 in home depot receipts supplies that i used on job sites though out the year can i just enter this on one line item ? or do i have to break it down part by part? also there are a few tools items on these receipts
You can just enter the supplies as a single line. Just keep the detail for the life of the tax return in case of an audit.
I have been entering materials used on a job under the supplies. I just saw that is supposed to be things usually under $200 like for an office, this was chemicals used on job sites valued much more. Where should i put if not there?
which single line??? I have entered those expenses in Supplies in Business Income and Expenses in Turbo tax, is that where it belongs or somewhere else?
Yes just enter it and Materials under Supplies. You don't have to enter each receipt or item. You can just enter the grand total for the year. Or if you don't want to use Supplies you can enter anything you want under Other Misc Exp. That is on Part V which goes to Schedule C line 27a.
