How do I determine the foreign source amount income from dividends?

I am wanting to use Form 1116 to report foreign taxes paid on several stocks. Thus, I need to fill in the foreign source income amount on the worksheet. My brokerage 1099 only includes the tax paid. How do I determine the foreign source amount from the dividends of each company?

There is usually a page included in the Consolidated 1099 package that provides supplemental information about the source of foreign dividend income. If you did not receive such a statement, contact your brokerage and ask them to provide that information to you.
