How do I determine fair market value for for a vehicle in 2012....it is now 2018?

I purchased 2000 Toyota Tacoma new.  Since that time, the records have been lost. The vehicle was place into business use in April 2012 and was totaled in mid 2017.  I a need to determine what its fair market values was at the time it was placed into service........04/02/2012

The Bluebook value of a comparably equipped 12 to 13-year-old Toyota Tacoma would be a suitable determination for the fair market value. Possibly a little less accounting for inflation over the last 6 years. Also, see the difference between a 2000 Tacoma and a 2006 (12 years ago) Tacoma with comparable mileage in your area. Possibly not that much difference.
