How do I delete the self employed health insurance deduction?

My husband is self employed, and our health care came from the health care marketplace.  I accidentally put his premiums on the business section, and now I can't get it deleted.

Yes, if you link your Marketplace policy to your business in the Health Insurance section, it will carry it over to the Schedule C automatically.  You may wish to add other health policy premiums linked to your self-employment, such as dental and vision, which were not included in the Marketplace policy.  To make the changes:

In the online Self-Employed version of Turbo Tax with the Federal tab at the top

  • Click on the Federal Taxes tab
  • Click on Income and Expenses
  • You may see a prompt for Self-Employment, but if not
  • Click on Check for More Income and See All Income
  • Scroll down to the Self-Employment section with the blue person icon
  • Click on Show More
  • And Revisit
  • Click on Edit by the name of your business
  • Scroll down and click on the blue Add Expenses for this Work
  • Scroll down and click on the blue triangle by Less common expenses
  • Scroll down to select Health Insurance
  • Click on Continue at the bottom right

In the Self-Employed version of Turbo Tax with the Business tab at the top

  • Click on the Business tab
  • Then Continue and I'll choose what to work on
  • Update your Profit or Loss from a Business
  • Click on the Edit button for the name of your business
  • Click on Business Expenses
  • Select Update next to Other Common Business Expenses
  • Scroll down to Insurance Payments and Revisit

No, you just have to bring your cursor to the erroneous entry, click CTRL-D and delete the entry.  CTRL-D is an override command.
