How do I connect bank account to my turbo tax to find deductions?

I am self employed and have W-2 wages. I had the option to connect my bank account for self employment deductions, but I ended up clearing my return and started over. Now it's not giving me the option to connect my bank again.

Please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies.  Then try again to see if the option appears.

I don't think there is a feature like that.  Back in 2017 they had an Expense Finder but that was discontinued.  You can only import 1099 info like interest or 1099R for IRA accounts from Banks.  Let me know exactly what and where you saw it.  If it comes up again try to post a screen shot.

It was after I checked the box that I had self employment income and expenses. It popped up and gave the option to connect my bank account to find expenses, but I haven't been able to get it to do it again.

Delete the self-employed business that you've started entering and start that over from scratch and it should trigger it.
