How do I choose to itemize my deductions on my state returns but use the standard deduction on my federal return? I live in GA

Unfortunately no. Georgia does not allow you to itemize your deductions if you have taken the standard federal deduction.

You will need to use the GA standard deduction of $4,600 for single filers or $6,000 for married jointly filers.
