If you are taking about the Sale of Home section, go to Income and Expenses, then Sale of Home, then on the Home Sales Summary page click on Edit to walk through the questions again.

We did not sell a home. We bought our home in April 2019. I put in all of the mortgage information and when it was reviewing all of our information a form came up asking: debt on date last secured and fair market value of home on date debt was last secured.

I entered the wrong market value and want to change it but I can’t find that area.

This may be your mortgage interest statement, Form 1098. In order to edit the numbers, please follow these steps:

Once you are in TurboTax, select

  • Federal
  • Deductions and Credits
  • Home-  Mortgage Interest (click on "edit"
