How can I tell if I used the standard mileage rate for my vehicle in 2016? I am not sure I used it and wanted to know if I can use it this year?

If you are self-employed, the standard mileage would be listed on Schedule C, part IV (part 4).

If you are an employee - the mileage would be listed on Form 2106, Part II (part 2).
