Hired Help Lodging Expense

I hire ranch help every year during our busiest season.  I own a cabin and provide multiple days lodging for the help.  The nearest hotel is 45 minutes from the ranch.  The best rate at a hotel is $175 per night.  Can I deduct the lodging expense as if I paid for the rooms at the Best Western?

You would have to be careful deducting the housing expense because you would be required to report the income as well so there may not be an advantage.
