Hi, where in the form can I deduct additional taxes paid for 2022, in 2024

To enter your state tax payments made for 2022, please follow the instructions below:

1. Open your return.
2. Click on Federal.
3. Click on Deductions & Credits.
4. Scroll down and click on Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
5. Click Start next to Income Taxes Paid.
6. Click on Other income Taxes Paid in 2024.
7. Click Start next to Payments for 2022 or a prior year state or local taxes paid in 2024. 

Thank you. I looked at that, but it is only asking for state and local taxes, not giving an option for federal taxes

There is no place to enter back year federal taxes paid, because there is no deduction or other effect on your current year tax return.
