Hi, I am a gig worker and i entered my milage vehicle info but every time I want to edit I have to start over.. THERE IS A GLITCH.. PLEASE HELP

I dont know how to edit the vehicle info..
Ive entered it several times and I think it might have added it all together and its not allowing me to edit it.. PLEASE HELP!

If you are self-employed and use your personal vehicle for business purposes, you can usually deduct your business expenses for that vehicle. You can choose to claim either the standard mileage rate, or report the actual expenses incurred while carrying out business-related activities.

 

If you encountered error messages, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click Federal Review located on the upper right hand side of the screen .
  2. Click review to each details ,and it will take you to line 10b of form 1040..
  3. You do the same on your state income tax. 
  4. When done fixing, go back to Federal Review to check if the return is ready to e-file.
