Hi Does teaching in a community non profit class count for the classroom teacher expenses credit?

Educator expenses are a deduction, not a credit. A deduction reduces your taxable income. It is not subtracted directly from your tax.

I don't know what you mean by a "community non profit class." The deduction for educator expenses is only for teachers in kindergarten through 12th grade, and you have to have worked in the school for at least 900 hours during the year.
