Health Insurance

I claim my daughter on my taxes. One of the questions on TurboTax was: If I have health insurance and the answer is Yes. I have 1095-C.  I only have insurance for me.  Under the divorce agreement  my daughter is under her father health insurance.  TurboTax did not asked if my daughter has health insurance?  How the IRS and my State will know that she was covered for 2020?

There question asking for health insurance on a federal tax return is asked to determine if you had state Marketplace Insurance and received a Form 1095-A.  The penalty for not having health insurance was removed from the tax code after tax year 2017 on a federal tax return.
