Government worker relocated received a W2 reference the reimbursement. How do I complete moving expenses?
The government moved me and my family overseas and paid for my move and expenses. I received a W2 the amount being higher than what was given to me. Can I fill-out the Moving Expenses on Turbo Tax? Should I claim the full amount from the W2?

If this was not a military move for a permanent change of station then the moving expenses are not reported on nor deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes for tax year 2018 thru 2025.
