Form 1116- Foreign Tax Credit - How entere the explaination for line 3a and line 3b again

I generated Form 1116 and during the review process, Turbotax premier ONLINE asked me to enter the details/explanation for line 3a and line 3b.

After entering and saving the form,

I realized that explanation which I provided were incorrect and need to overwrite the explanation but how do I overwrite this? These questions does NOT come up again during review

You could delete the form 1116 and then re-enter the foreign tax credit information.

 

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form

Find the Form 1116 in the list and click on the delete icon to remove it.
