Federal Taxes aren’t being taken out of my checks

Does anyone know why federal taxes aren’t being taken from all of my paychecks? There has been one check out of 4 so far for the year of 2021 that has had federal taxes taken out. But that’s it. Why??? I do not claim exempt from federal tax withholding.... I’m so confused!!! I don’t want to owe at tax time next year!!!

You should be asking

your employer. 

 Did you fill out a W-4 at work that tells the employer how much you want withheld from your paychecks?

Yes, you have to. I even fixed my w4 recently. I called HR to talk to payroll and they said this has been happening to other people too and they aren’t sure why.
