FBAR, w/ no income, I can"t e-file. Is there a better way?

I am a US citizen, have no income in the States, but I do receive a very small amount of interest from my foreign account. TTax says i can not file electronically this year. Is this because i have no income?  Do i really have to pay TTax for such a basic filing, especially if i have to do the FBAR on my own anyhow?

If the small amount of interest from the foreign accounts is your only income, you do not likely need to file a tax return.  TurboTax doesn't prepare and file the FBAR/FinCEN114.  If that is the only form that you need to file you can do that HERE.

Do keep in mind that US citizens, permanent residents, and tax residents must report all of their worldwide income and not only income earned in the US or from US sources.
