Estimated taxes Already Paid

If you have state tax estimates or any other payments enter them here.

•        Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)

•        Click on Deductions and Credits

•        Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)

•        Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

•        On Estimates, click on the start or update button

OR

Income Taxes Paid

Payments for 2018 or a prior year state or local income taxes paid in 2019

I did not enter any amounts for Other Taxes Paid.  Where did this amount come from?

 

If you are looking at a review or summary screen those add in other kinds of taxes paid too.  Make sure your actual 1040 return is right on line 17 for withholding and line 18d for estimates.
