Does foreign property count as a place when consider a Homebuyer credit benefit in US?

Greeting!

I own the foreign property in another country for years and had been living in the place for 3 years (until 2020).  I moved to US since I got a new job offer from 2021. I am planning to buy a new property this year. Do I qualify for the First home buyer credit? I look up the discussion and context seem to be complicated to understand. Thanks in advance for clarifying.

There is not a first time homebuyers credit on a federal tax return.  That expired after September 2010.
