Does date of marriage affect dependency test

My wife and I were married in late November of 2019.   She lived with and provided for her daughter and 3 grandkids for most of 2019 before our marriage.   Can we claim them as dependents on our JOINT return this year?

Yes, assuming all other requirements are met.  You would not have had to live in the household with them in order for them to be claimed as dependents on your joint return.

When you are working through the dependent questions with respect to how long the child lived with you, consider either you or your spouse when answering.  Then, some of the follow-up questions will go into more details if needed.
