Does anyone know how to remove the foreign income from my tax form? I am a USG employee with a w-2 so it is not foreign income, but TurboTax is making me review.

I am a foreign service officer who works overseas, but my pay comes directly from the US Government, so my income is taxed and is not excluded. however, turbo tax is making me fill out the 2555-T

Yes, remove the income from that section of the income and report it here instead.

  1. Log into your account
  2. Select Wages and income
  3. Less Common income
  4. Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099>start
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Other Reportable Income
  6. Other taxable income, answer yes
  7. Then give a brief description of the income and the amount listed..
