Does a used 2017 Chevy Volt purchased in July 2023 qualify for the Energy-Efficient Vehicle Credit?

I purchased it from a dealership. Also, is Date Clean Vehicle Placed in Service mean when I purchased it or when it was manufactured? Is the sales price the amount financed, just the cost of the vehicle, or does it include the state taxes and document fees etc in it?

Your Chevy Volt would appear to qualify for the Clean Vehicle Credit, but enter your vehicle's information in Federal Tax Credits for Pre-owned Plug-in Electric and Fuel Cell Vehicles to check.

"Placed in Service" means when you placed it in service -- once you've purchased it.

Sales price would include sales tax and other expenses connected with the purchase, including finance fees.
