Does a built-in fridge that stayed with the house at sale count toward the house's adjusted cost basis?

When we purchased our home it did not include a fridge. We purchased a fridge to be built into the kitchen cabinets. When we sold the home, the fridge stayed with the home, as it was a custom fit for the kitchen. In this case, does the fridge count as an addition to our adjusted cost basis?

The cost of your kitchen remodeling, including space for a fridge, is the cost-basis addition.
A refrigerator is an appliance. if you left it, is is part of your agreed upon selling price,

I noticed that IRS Pub 523 lists "Built-in appliances" as an "Example of Improvements That
Increase Basis". In some forums I've heard it said that a built in dishwasher qualifies. How is a built-in fridge different?

If it is truly custom made, I suppose you can include it.
