Do not have a mortgage and never had. It keeps asking me for origination date.

You may have an incomplete or partial entry in this section. You can navigate to this section of TurboTax by taking the following steps: 

1.) Federal

2.) Deductions and Credits

3.) Your Home

4.) Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098) 

You should see a screen that says Review Your 1098 Info. If there is an entry here that should not be, you can click on the trash can icon to remove it. 

If this does not fully resolve your issue, please provide additional details below.
